Equitable Pricing

We aim to keep our submission fees very reasonable, but we know there are circumstances that may make payment in any amount difficult.

For that reason, we have an equitable submission process. For those folks needing assistance, the fee submissions will be waived and for those who have the means, we as that you consider our Pay-it-Forward option. NOTE: you still need to put the product in your cart and check out as usual.

Young writers and artists, please submit:

• Poetry: Submit 1-5 pieces of poetry.

• Fiction {short stories} up to 4000 words.

• Creative non-fiction up to 2500 words.

• Essayettes up to 1000 words.

• Flash Stories up to 100 words.

• Photography, art or illustration

Using the drop-down menu below, choose the category your writing or art best fits into and add to cart. NOTE: You’ll need to go through all the steps as if you’re paying.

You’ll then be asked to fill out a form with your contact details and some background info, and from there go to your cart and check out.

After you’ve made your purchase, you’ll receive an email receipt that will direct you to where to upload your work.

Important things to remember:

• Name each document you submit with 1) your name, 2) the piece’s name, and 3) the issue # you’re submitting to. Make sure your name and the piece’s name are also the name of the document you’ll be uploading

• Use the Theme Name (The World According to Me) in the Subject line of your e-mail when submitting work.

• We will contact you within 3-4 days via e-mail to let you know your submission has been received.

• You will be notified within 60 days if your piece has been selected for publication.
