Buttered Toast: a journal for young writers

$16.00

Buttered Toast is our publication of work from young writers and artists. This first (and only) issue is filled with writing around the theme of “The World According to Me”.

We invited writers and artists to consider the authority of their perspective. What do they see about the world, both outside and inside of themselves? What would they LIKE to see? Are there questions or challenges that they’ve been holding and trying to disentangle or come to terms with? What are their experiences of wonder, peace, joy, confusion, or upset, and how do they hold the contradictions of those experiences?

We were interested in learning about their experiences, and what insight, wisdom, and reflections they’ve gathered from their lives so far. This collection speaks to all these things.
